Operation Jenda is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization. Our mission is to bring positive energy, self-esteem, and purpose to people’s lives. Promoting, encouraging, and empowering the next generation of philanthropists through humanitarian aid.
Operation Jenda is an extraordinary project to build schools and libraries for the underprivileged children in third world countries. It serves as a collaborative model to empower extraordinary children in the U.S. to fast track their philanthropic potential.
Miss Alison Jenda Khut is an extraordinary 4-year-old child whose Cambodian name is Jenda, which means heart. Her father is a Cambodian genocide survivor, and her mother is a Laotian refugee. Her family owns Mekong Bistro in Portland Oregon, an authentic Cambodian and Laotian restaurant. Her paternal grandfather was murdered by the Khmer Rouge. Her maternal grandfather was a foot soldier fighting on the side of the U.S. in the Vietnam war along the border of Lao and Vietnam.
Jenda, aka Miss Alison, is precocious and extremely talented. Her philanthropic potential has been influenced by her parents' efforts to give back to their communities. Her maturity and her ability to understand the needs of other less fortunate children are profoundly advanced.
Jenda's parents, family, and family's network are her supporters. Operation Jenda is a 501c charitable organization and therefore all proceeds are tax-deductible. Please donate online preferably on Gofundme, Venmo, PayPal or on our website: http://www.operationjenda.org. Otherwise please make checks payable to Operation Jenda and mail to 8200 NE Siskiyou Street Suite 107, Portland OR 97220.

Doung Het School Library, Kratie, Cambodia
In 2022, Operation Jenda (OJ) completed its first international project by building a new library for the children of Doung Het Elementary School in Kratie Province, Cambodia. To make this vision a reality, we partnered with Golden Leaf, a charitable organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for underserved communities.
Together, Operation Jenda and Golden Leaf raised the $30,000 needed to fund the project through community fundraising events held throughout the year. In addition to constructing the library, we donated books and essential school supplies to support the students' educational needs.
The school is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and talents to teach the children without compensation. Their commitment to education and service continues to inspire us.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, we were able to provide a safe and welcoming space where children can learn, read, and expand their knowledge. The new library stands as a lasting investment in the future of these students and their community.
Orphanage in Svay Sisophon, Cambodia
Also in 2022, my awesome Operation Jenda family and friends who was able to travel with me over 7,500 miles away from home helped me delivered rice, formula, fish sauce, new bunk beds and mattresses ….lots of staples to the Orphanage in Svay Sisophon Cambodia. Biggest gratitude to all donors and supporters near and far who helped me made this happen. There isn’t enough words to express my utmost gratitude to all!! YOU’VE touched so many childrens lives!
Muang Sing Elementary School, Laos
In 2024, Operation Jenda proudly completed the construction of a new school in Muang Sing, Luang Namtha Province, Laos. This $50,000 project included four classrooms and two restrooms, providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for more than 250 students from Muang Sing and the surrounding villages. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, 100% of the funds raised were dedicated directly to the construction of the school.
Upon completion of the project, nearly the entire Operation Jenda team traveled to Laos for the school's grand opening ceremony, covering all of their own travel expenses. Seeing the excitement and joy on the children's faces as they entered their new classrooms was an unforgettable experience and a powerful reminder of the impact that education can have on a community.
Muang Sing is located in northwestern Laos near the border of China. The region is home to a rich diversity of ethnic communities, including the Lahu, Akha, Tai Lue, Hmong, Yao, Tai Dam, Tai Neua, and Mien peoples. Nestled among the mountains of northern Laos, Muang Sing is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and vibrant cultural heritage, making it one of the country's most unique and historically rich regions.
Sto. Niño Elementary School, Pagadian City, Philippines
In 2026, Operation Jenda provided much-needed educational resources to Sto. Niño Elementary School in Pagadian City, Philippines. Through the support of our partners and affiliates in the Philippines, we secured and donated approximately $6,500 worth of Smart TVs and computer printers to help enhance the school's learning environment.
These essential supplies were requested by the school following the devastating flooding that occurred in February 2026, which caused significant damage to school facilities and disrupted educational activities. The donated equipment will help teachers continue delivering quality instruction and provide students with access to modern learning tools as the school recovers and rebuilds.
Operation Jenda is honored to support the students, teachers, and families of Sto. Niño Elementary School during this challenging time and remains committed to improving educational opportunities for children in communities around the world..
Blessings to All!
Every child deserves a chance for education!
